Illustration: Book Jacket Design

When a family friend, who is currently pursuing his MFA in illustration, called and asked if our kids would be interested in modeling for a faux book cover we all said, YES! 

As a writer, I am completely fascinated by the artistic process. Even more so as I have just finished three picture book manuscript drafts, which is a little like playing catch with one arm tied behind your back. 

So, with his blessing here is the beginning of the process; from initial sketch to computerized draft:
